Coronary Calcium Screening Report

[Patient] is a 59 year old man with no cardiac symptoms.  He is an ex-smoker and has a history of high (total) cholesterol level.

A high resolution, non-contrast, limited CT imaging of the chest with special emphasis on the heart was done using Electron Beam Computed Tomography {EBCT} on 1/9/01.

Coronary artery calcium scanning and three-dimensional scoring was done according to a standardized protocol.  Below is a table of the scan results and selected representative images(s) from the examination.  Note that the Calcium Volume Score uses Isotropic Interpolation.
