Radiology Consultation Report

EXAMINATION: Retroperitoneal ultrasound 04/02/2009

CLINICAL INFORMATION: Adrenal mass, followup.

COMPARISON: 09/23/2008

The right kidney measures 10 cm in length, and the left measures 10.8 cm. Both appear normal. The urinary bladder is nearly empty. The prostate is enlarged with the volume of aproximately 51 cc.

The well circumscribed hypoechoic 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm nodule in the expected position of the right adrenal gland appears essentially unchanged. No new nodules are identified.

The aorta and common iliac arteries appear normal. The IVC is poorly seen.

IMPRESSION: Stable findings. The approximately 1.5 cm hypoechoic right adrenal fossa nodule has not changed.
