EXAMINATION: Shoulder, 2 views only.
Bilateral shoulders, 2 views of each, 12/19/12
CLINICAL DATA: 70-year-old male with frozen shoulder.
Left shoulder examination demonstrates normal bony alignment and mineralization. Glenohumeral and acromioclavicular joints are normal. The soft tissues are normal.
Right shoulder examination again demonstrates normal bony alignment and mineralization. A tiny fragment of calcification or bone is seen adjacent to the right inferior glenoid with which may be posttraumatic although certainly its site of origin is not visualized. It appears old and a loose body cannot be excluded. No fracture, lytic or sclerotic lesion is present.
IMPRESSION:
1. Tiny fragment of bone or calcification along the right glenoid lip described above of uncertain significance.
2. Otherwise normal bilateral shoulder examinations.
