In November or December 1997, I developed what was later diagnosed as Peyronie's disease.
I began taking Cylert as an enhancer to other antidepressant medications. I used the Cylert as an enhancer to the Wellbutrin and Paxil that I was taking for the depression and fatigue. At this time I developed a sexual dysfunction. I had a good deal of trouble achieving orgasm and eventually could not. I had no trouble achieving a stiff erection. My interest in trying was casual.
There is not now and there never was pain or tenderness at the bend in my penis. No irritation, no pain, no markings on the skin. One night Mr. Happy got frustrated with his situation and got roughed up (self inflicted). My internist thought there was not a casual relationship. Deleting the Paxil from the antidepressant medication cocktail corrected the dysfunction.
Advice from an internist: "If you can have intercourse do nothing." Internet Advice (I forget where): "If you can have intercourse do nothing." Attempted repairs are risky. The bend in my erect penis is about 45 degrees in the horizontal plane.
Currently, although not engaged in field work, Mr. Happy is happy.
